Flame Lamination

Durability and Production Speed

Proven Technology for Thermal Layer Bonding

Flame lamination is one of the fastest methods for bonding textile materials. The resulting composite material acquires enhanced performance characteristics, such as water resistance and improved thermal insulation.

Technology Overview

The process involves permanently bonding layers using polyurethane (PU) foam or polyethylene (PE) film. Through controlled exposure to an open gas flame, the surface of the core medium is briefly melted, creating an active bonding layer. This results in a unified composite with high resistance to delamination—without requiring additional liquid adhesives.
