Properties

The anti-static variant contains an admixture of conductive fibers, which enables charge dissipation and prevents sparking. The anti-slip variant is produced by applying silicone dots to a polyester felt base, providing grip on smooth surfaces. Both materials feature a dense structure, dimensional stability, and resistance to abrasion and stretching.

Applications

In manufacturing processes, these nonwovens serve as components for finished industrial and consumer products. Anti-static felt is used to produce insoles for safety footwear, gaskets in the electronics industry (ESD), and filter bags in industrial filtration systems. The silicone-coated variant is used as a backing layer in rugs, mats, table accessories, and pet beds, where it prevents items from moving. Varied technical parameters allow the material to be precisely tailored to the requirements of a given application.
