Mechanical Needle-Punching

Traditional Nonwoven Manufacturing

Mechanical needle-punching is an advanced technical process where loose fiber webs are mechanically interlocking into a high-strength textile material. At LAMA, we utilize this technology to manufacture a broad portfolio of nonwovens and felts that serve as structural foundations across diverse industrial sectors.

Production Scope & Dimensions

We operate 6 state-of-the-art production lines capable of manufacturing nonwovens up to 6 meters in width. Our machinery handles a comprehensive weight range—from lightweight 50 g/m² materials up to high-density structures reaching 1800 g/m².

Raw Material Management

Our technical process processes a wide range of raw materials, including polyester (PES), polypropylene (PP, PPHT), and wool. Working with fiber finenesses ranging from 1.7 to 15 dtex, we maintain complete control over the density and physical performance of the finished nonwoven.

Finishing Processes

Our needle-punching capability is complemented by advanced post-processing and finishing techniques. We offer calendering, anti-slip coating applications, and specialized functional treatments, including: hydrophobic / Water-repellent, flame-retardant, anti-static, anti-bacterial.
